My name is Casey Meredith and I am pleased to have the opportunity, once again, to teach at Redland Christian Academy. I will be teaching middle school Mathematics and eighth grade Economics.

First and foremost, I am dedicated to serving my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I have been a member of Homestead Church of Christ for 13 years and a resident of Homestead/Redlands for 20 years.

This is my second tenure as a teacher for RCA. I taught 3^rd grade from 1998 to 2003. I received the Teacher of the Year award in 1998. I have also functioned as an Assistant Softball Coach for the past two years. Over these many years I have been blessed with loving relationships with the administration, staff, teachers, students, and parents at our school. It has been a source of great pride to see many of my former students graduate high school and move on to success in other areas of their lives.

I am also the founder and president of a local non-profit organization called Maranatha Ministries of Faith, Inc. Our organization continuously ministers to the needs of children in Homestead and surrounding communities.

I am grateful for the opportunity to share my faith and my talents with my students. It is my prayer that each of them will progress in their relationship with Jesus as they progress in their educational endeavors. As we explore the differing levels of mathematics and economics with the varying grades, it is my desire that they learn the traditional principles of our math curriculums, ABEKA and Prentice Hall, while being exposed to mathematical “tricks” and “hints” that will enable them gain confidence and self-assurance as they face many new concepts in the middle school courses.

Please join me in praying for each individual student as they pursue their educational and spiritual development. May God’s blessings be evident on the students, parents, teachers, staff, and administration throughout the 2009-2010 school year.
