Welcome to the 2009 – 2010 School
Year!
It is an honor to be teaching the
Language Arts for the Middle School department this year. During my 20
years of teaching, there is one thing I can be certain of: that each
year brings many new challenges and opportunities for growth
academically, socially and spiritually. How we handle these
challenges and opportunities will determine each student’s
achievements through out the school year.
As a Christian teacher, my goal is to
help each student integrate Christian principles with academic
learning. The Bible says that God wants to bless us as we commit our
plans and lives to HIM. Since each student is a unique creation from
God with special gifts and abilities, they will be expected to use
their gifts in a positive manner as they grow intellectually and
spiritually.
Academically, my plans for your child’s
progress this year include exciting lesson plans, library trips,
independent/group study and more. These plans will show your child’s
improvement only with the students desire to achieve success and with
your help.
Thank you in advance for your trust,
support and cooperation in the fulfillment of the school’s objective
to help your child reach his or her full potential. It is an awesome
responsibility which we take very seriously.
I pray that the Lord may use this year
to be a blessing and encouragement to you and to each student in my
classroom. Please pray with us that the love of Jesus will be evident
between students, teachers and our entire school family.
