My name is Ms. Toni Thompson and I would like to welcome both new and old students to come and enjoy yet another triumphant year at R.C.A! I plan on having an exciting, fun-filled school year!
This upcoming year all high school students will focus on essay and creative writings, past and current literature, SAT vocabulary development, impromptu speeches, poetry and novel readings/comprehension skills. My main objective is to motivate and provide as many resources as possible. All students will be expected to perform at their highest ability at all times. This includes academics as well as behavior. As an educator, I want to see each and every one of my students be prepared for the future. I will provide and maintain a well structured environment for the students learning success. Students will maintain respect for each other, therefore providing an atmosphere of comfort for all. All students will create goals at the beginning of the year and I will help each student reach those goals. I look forward to getting to know each and every student as well as educating them. I encourage parent communication and feel that communication is crucial for parents, teachers, and students to work together for the benefit of the student.
