Hello! I’m Mrs. Crissien and I will be the Bible & HIstory teacher for the 2024 – 2025 school year. I am truly excited and honored to work with you and your child. This year is going to be a year of many unknowns, yet full of adventures. I can’t wait to start of the year and see what is in store for us. In the classroom I will be implementing best practices that engages the minds of students while learning Spanish as a second language. I truly believe in having a classroom that is immersed in Spanish as they receive their education.

Furthermore, it is even a greater honor to share biblical principles through
scriptures in conjunction with each lesson. As a believer of Christ Jesus, I am proud to teach in an environment where the mission statement, “Training students to live for Christ today, so that they may live with Him for eternity” truly lives up to its word.

I have been working in the education system for 10 years. A brief summary about myself, I was born in Barranquilla, Colombia to a humble family. In Colombia I attained my bachelor’s degree in business from the Universidad del Norte. When suddenly, my life took an unexpected turn and I had the privilege to migrate to the United States of America where I married my wonderful husband. Here in the United States I had the privilege to continue my studies where I was able to earn a master’s degree in human resource. However, as I worked with children, I truly understood how fun and important it was to work with the minds of tomorrow, which led me to teach.

Until we meet again!
